About company PT Servis cannery Ltd.

The Czech Republic has also a great tradition in the production of canned food. The PT Servis cannery Ltd. has been on our market since the year 2000. It is a truly Czech company and is linking up a original cannery in Tábor. PT Servis is considered to be a top level company in its branch, first of all for its precision, production under the supervision and strict control of quality.

The company is producer, supplier and distributor of trade mark canned products VIVA, produced in accordance with the international alimentary norms IFS, with a system of critical check points – certification HACCP and safe alimentary operation and chain. It supplies by its products foreign supermarket chains, independent whole sale stores, school dining-rooms and is an important supplier for catering services all over the Czech Republic.

In addition to it the company is an important supplier of private brands into foreign supermarket chains as Penny Market, Makro, Tesco, Globus, Spar as well as into Czech chains Coop and Jednota.

PT Servis produces canned foods in metal and aluminium casing so called Alupak or in glass containers. The meat products are packed mainly into metal cans (pure meats in own juice or prepared and cooked ready meals). The aluminium cans which are more suitable for fine sterilization are filled with pasties and spreads and so called e.g. refreshment for travelling (light and easy to open). Into glass containers is sterilized first of all fruit and vegetable, mixtures for the preparation of further foods or for the direct consumation.

A fashionable trend is to put even meat products into glass containers, for instance sausages, bratwursts, pasties – as in this way their natural and fresh trimness is underlined. PT Servis canning is extraordinal also by the fact that it calls its products after the South Bohemian celebrities.
